I checked out the original. This is much better.

However, you shouldn't have done the skipping at the beginning, it should have just held the note. Great job!

It's Okay

it's an okay song... It changes beat/tempo in an unusual way at about 0:08. Also you may want to change the main instument so it is more pleasing to the ear.
But overall its a good song.

I found some of the loops didn't fit together very well and the styles of the loops are just too different to be put together.

It's okay

The music is okay. It feels a little repetitive and in some parts it sounds like the layers don't match up too well.

Oh, and don't feel bad that you use garageband. I used it for most of my songs and they turned out just fine.
